I was born and raised in Texas, and began dancing at the age of two. My passion for dance was intensified in high school when I was on the high school's drill team, which is one of the oldest drill teams in the state of Texas. On the team I served as Junior Lt. and Co-Captain my senior year, where I enhanced my dance skills, but also my leadership skills. After high school and entering college, I started renting out a local studio to teach dance team prep classes for dancers who wanted to try out for the high school dance team. The business eventually grew enough to where I was able to open her own studio in August 2017, where in my first year open I ended the season with 180 dancers! The studio now has around 450+ dancers. I wanted to keep expanding my love and passion for dance, hence the Abilene location! Also in February 2021, we launched our online dance studio for kids, Dance with Me. I was also the coordinator for the Angelo State Angelettes dance team for 3 years from 2017-2021, and I'm a college instructor at Howard College. I have been married to my husband Ronnie (and now business partner) for over two years and we have two whippets, Ellie and Brock.
I began gymnastics, ballet and jazz classes from a young age. In high school, I was a three year line member of the Central High School Tex- Ann’s and served as Senior Representative my senior year. I was also on the Stampede Arena Football and Cheer Team.I am a proud military wife and a mom to two beautiful girls. I have taught preschool dance for 5 seasons with Prep Academy and now enjoy interacting with dancers and parents of all ages in my management role. I love watching my dancers grow in confidence and ability and seeing their sweet smiling faces each class!
I started dance in Houston, Texas when I was 3 years old and have been dancing ever since. I have always had a passion for dance. I love the sport and how it gives those the ability to express themselves in their own unique way. I did tumbling and cheerleading for 6 years. I was a three year member on the Tex-Ann drill team and a Senior Lieutenant my senior year at Central High School. I am currently studying Biology and Chemistry at ASU and am working on getting into medical school. I love helping and encouraging others to continue their passion for dance. As a teacher, my goal is boost confidence, and help others appreciate dance as much as I do.
Elite Teams Director and Dance Instructor
I have been dancing since I was 3 years old, studying many styles including tap, ballet, hiphop, lyrical, acro, etc. Moving around a lot growing up made it difficult to find a home studio, but I’ve stuck to my love for dance through all the ups and downs. I went to Hendrickson High School in my hometown Pflugerville, TX and freshman year I made my school’s drill team, the Silver Dancers. I was on the team through my senior year, and served as a Social Officer my junior year. Being a Silver Dancer taught me so many life lessons and provided me with once in a lifetime opportunities, such as getting to perform with my team in the national St. Patrick’s Day parade in Cork, Ireland. Currently, I am a student at ASU, majoring in Intelligence and Analysis with a minor in Mathematics, and will potentially be adding a second major in Cybersecurity. I just finished my first year as an Angelette, and am loving being a collegiate dancer. I also am a member of ASU’s Honors College and am involved in Younglife.
I began dancing when I was 13. I was very shy at first, but then dance turned into something so enjoyable to me, I fell in love. I made the Lake View High School Chiefettes Dance Team my freshman year, was 2nd lieutenant my junior year, and was Co-Captain my senior year. It was a great experience learning from others and leading my team. I then went on to make the ASU Angelettes my freshman year. I am now a senior in college. Additionally, I am pursuing a degree for Social Work at ASU.
I started dance at the age of 7 after going to a musical with my family and being mesmerized by the dancers. I have practiced many different genres of dance, such as ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop and contemporary. In high school my passion for dance deepened as I made my high school pom squad my freshman year. I was on the team for all four years at Frenship and absolutely loved it! I am currently attending ASU pursuing a degree in early childhood education. I have always loved kids and I love getting to share my passion of dance with them! As a teacher it is my goal to share my love of dance in a positive way!
Little Stars Teacher and Dance Instructor
I have lived in San Angelo my entire life and have always been Homeschooled. I Love to dance. In most of my free time, you can find me practicing on new dances/stretching. I have been dancing since I was 3 years old, I took ballet with Angelo Civic Ballet from ages 3-5. Shortly after that I started dancing with Just for Kicks, under the instruction of Lauren White, where I learned a lot of new skills. In middle school I joined CPD (Concho Pearls Dance) Dance team and learned Jazz, Hip-Hop, and lyrical. Towards the end of my freshman year, I found Prep Academy, and here I am taking Jazz, Ballet and am on the Sr Elite team as well as assisting with classes and Teaching the Little Stars program, which I love. After graduating I plan to attend college, and hope to one day open up my own Dance studio.
