Miah PullenOwnerI was born and raised in Texas, and began dancing at the age of two. My passion for dance was intensified in high school when I was on the high school's drill team, which is one of the oldest drill teams in the state of Texas. On the team I served as Junior Lt. and Co-Captain my senior year, where I enhanced my dance skills, but also my leadership skills. After high school and entering college, I started renting out a local studio to teach dance team prep classes for dancers who wanted to try out for the high school dance team. The business eventually grew enough to where I was able to open her own studio in August 2017, where in my first year open I ended the season with 180 dancers! The studio now has around 450+ dancers. I wanted to keep expanding my love and passion for dance, hence the Abilene location! Also in February 2021, we launched our online dance studio for kids, Dance with Me. I was also the coordinator for the Angelo State Angelettes dance team for 3 years from 2017-2021, and I'm a college instructor at Howard College. I have been married to my husband Ronnie (and now business partner) for over two years and we have two whippets, Ellie and Brock.

Kaylen ShetlerDance Instructor, Junior Elite Prep CoachI have been dancing since I was 3 years old, studying many styles including tap, ballet, hiphop, lyrical, acro, etc. Moving around a lot growing up made it difficult to find a home studio, but I’ve stuck to my love for dance through all the ups and downs. I went to Hendrickson High School in my hometown Pflugerville, TX and freshman year I made my school’s drill team, the Silver Dancers. I was on the team through my senior year, and served as a Social Officer my junior year. Being a Silver Dancer taught me so many life lessons and provided me with once in a lifetime opportunities, such as getting to perform with my team in the national St. Patrick’s Day parade in Cork, Ireland. Currently, I am a student at ASU, majoring in Intelligence and Analysis with a minor in Mathematics, and will potentially be adding a second major in Cybersecurity. I just finished my first year as an Angelette, and am loving being a collegiate dancer. I also am a member of ASU’s Honors College and am involved in Younglife.

Estella GibbsAssistant Dance Instructor, SubstituteI am from Huntsville, Alabama. I started dancing there at the age of 6. Dance has always been my passion. One of my favorite things about dance is competition. I felt like competition brought me closer to my team, and it was like family. We got to work together to make our dances better and spend time together; I also love the travel side of it. My favorite style of dance is contemporary, but I also love Hip Hop and Jazz. Whenever I have time, I love just being able to relax and watch Netflix. One of the things I love about working at Prep Academy is working with our students; it brings so much joy to me to see our students grow and strive for their passion in dance. As a teacher, I hope to inspire our students to keep following their dreams for dance, no matter how hard it gets and what obstacles life throws at them!
