A recreational dance team for dancers ages 5-7
If you have a mini dancer ages 5-7 that is ready to take it to the next level of dance, Mini Elite Prep Dance team is for you! The Mini Elite Prep team is an opportunity for young, up-and-coming dancers to be introduced to the performance environment in a fun and healthy environment. This is a great alternative to sports or other recreational activities for young kids. This program is a non-competitive recreational squad and dancers will perform around the San Angelo community. Invites will be sent via email in May or August based on instructor recommendation from the school year or summer sessions.
- Performances and Practices -
Practices for the Elite Prep Dance Team will be held weekly. Dancers are also required to take Acrobatics/Gymnastics, and a Technique class(Ballet/Tap, Jazz/Lyrical, or Pom) based on their team requirements for the school year and summer. Additionally, it is highly recommended that your dancer enroll in any additional classes to increase her skill and ability, i.e. Tap, Hip Hop, etc. Our team has around 10-12 performances/appearances/volunteer opportunities per season. Performances/appearances in the past have included: Christmas at Old Ft. Concho, Angelo State Christmas Tree Lighting, Veterans Day Parade, Rodeo Parade, Dia De Los Muertos, Santa Fe Railway Christmas, Tex-Ann Spring Show & Chiefette Spring Show, Kids Marathon, Children's Fair, and more.
- Membership Fees -
Monthly Class tuition is required for all students as well as additional fees such as convention fees, entry fees, uniform fees, etc. Please see the PDF below for a schedule of charges.
