A recreational team for dancers ages 12-18 

An exciting, powerful and dance enhancing program that helps students ages 12-18 to learn team building skills. By showing dedication to a team and experiencing performance, students are more prepared for high school dance teams. The Elite Prep Dance Team will reiterate and teach more in-depth dance skills that are taught in the dance team prep classes such as pom, kick and jazz technique. We will help to develop characteristics of strength, perseverance, hard work, and leadership in all our dancers. 
This is a great way for dancers to gain self-confidence and make new friendships in a positive and uplifting environment. This program is a non-competitive recreational squad and dancers will perform around the San Angelo community. Elite Prep Dance Team is an incredible stepping stone in preparing your dancer for a future in high school dance teams.

- Performances and Practices -

Practices for the Elite Prep Dance Team will be held weekly. Dancers are also required to take Strength Stretch and Technique or Acrobatics/Gymnastics, and a Technique class(Ballet, Jazz, Pom, or Dance Team Prep) based on their team requirements for the school year and summer. Additionally, it is highly recommended that your dancer enroll in any additional classes to increase her skill and ability, i.e. Tap, Hip Hop, etc. Our team has around 10-12 performances/appearances per season. Performances/appearances in the past have included: Children's Miracle Network Dance Marathon, Angelo State University football and basketball games, Christmas at Old Ft. Concho, Memorial Day Parade, Rodeo Day Parade, Night to Shine, Kid's Marathon, Tex-Ann Spring Show & Chiefette Spring Show. ​
